Fishing Near Seneca Rocks

Cast a line in the North Fork River — one of West Virginia's finest mountain trout streams.

The North Fork River

The North Fork of the South Branch Potomac River flows right through the Seneca Rocks area, offering some of the best trout fishing in West Virginia. The river is stocked regularly and also supports populations of wild brook and brown trout in its upper reaches.

The river is easily accessible from multiple points along Route 28/55 and offers a mix of pocket water, riffles, and deeper pools that reward both fly anglers and spin fishers.
